Wellness Physical Therapy is a state-of-the-art physical therapy center within the Slidell Athletic Club. It provides treatment for a wide variety of chronic and acute musculoskeletal issues including:

* Post Surgical Rehab
* Work injuries
* Sports injuries
* Acute and chronic soft tissue injuries (strains, sprains, tendinitis, bursitis)
* Fall/balance issues
* Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis

Wellness Physical Therapy is the leader in rehabilitation and performance training in the Slidell area. Wellness PT, located in the Slidell Athletic Club, is committed to a positive relationship with the club and supports the activities of the club, providing a unique and positive environment for the Slidell community.
Wellness Professionals
Richard Baudry, PT, COMT, DPT, OCS: Clinic Director.
Graduate of LSU Health Sciences Center in 1993, with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, and from the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2003, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy/Certification of Manual Therapy. Rich has also been recognized as an orthopedic certified specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Rich has been in outpatient orthopedic rehab since 1994, and brings a wide variety of experiences to Wellness Physical Therapy. Rich has been trained in Pilates, and ASTYM (augmented soft tissue mobilization system). Rich has been with Wellness Physical Therapy since 2006.
Heather Geddis Matula, DPT, MTC:
Graduate of the University of St. Augustine, Florida with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2001, and a Manual Therapy Certification, Heather has worked with Wellness Physical Therapy since 2001 developing, a specialty in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and is trained in ASTYM. Heather has also been a competitive swimmer and uses her experiences in treatment of local athletes.
Ciji L. Dufrene, PTA & Aquatics:
Graduate of Delgado Community College in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Ciji has worked in Outpatient Orthopedics in Gonzales since 2007. She has joined the team here at Wellness Physical Therapy and is a tremendous asset to the aquatics therapy.
Adam Casborn, Jr., PTA:
Graduate of Delgado Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Adam is also Med X Certified. He has previous experience in personal training and was a member of the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.
